In-House Food Safety Course Programme

A beginner level course to ensure that all staff working with food hold at least a basic understanding of the importance of food hygiene. Delegates will be informed of their responsibilities when working with or around food, and will learn cleaning methods and ways to ensure that personal and environmental hygiene is always of the highest level. The course is designed to ensure that all staff completing the course help the business meet all required health and safety standards.

Which sectors would this food safety training suit?

Our Food Safety Level 1 course is designed for anyone working with food in low risk environments. Delegates can choose a pathway to support their specific role; these pathways are Catering, Retail and Manufacturing, and the training is suitable for the following roles:

• New employees
• Low-risk food handling
• Handling of wrapped foods
• Check out staff
• Waiting staff
• Warehouse staff
• Kitchen porters

How long is this food safety course?
This course lasts 3 hours; delegates will be awarded with a certificate upon completion of a multiple choice exam (15 questions). HABC accreditation is also available upon request.

How is the training delivered?
We can deliver your food safety training to suit any requirements which you may have; whether you would prefer it to be delivered to you in-house, or if you would rather attend an open course at one of our 300+ centres nationwide, the choice is entirely up to you! We have instructors located across the UK, who enable us a level of flexibility which means that you can book training at a time and date to suit you.
